Friday, January 30th, 2009
India is often recognized as the center of the Yoga world. Certainly, there are more professional here than anywhere else. However, the practice of yoga has spread throughout the world. As has been extended, changed and modified through experimentation and implementation of creative approaches. In the West, the practice of yoga has taken different dimensions. Yoga purists may find easy to be critical of many new forms and not agree that these are “real” yoga. Nevertheless, the experiments have emerged in the West very few unique aspects, which have the potential to profoundly impact the practice of yoga and their relationships. One is “Yoga of the couple.” It is one of the most successful techniques used by teachers of Yoga in U.S. and Europe. Young

yoga is a method in which they join to learn and practice yoga. Most times, the majors are what we mean by the traditional interpretation of the word - a man and a woman. In fact, most couples who are practicing yoga partner are men and women who are involved in a loving relationship. However, the term “young” here may also mean two people. They may be friends of the same sex, a girlfriend or a friend. Can be a father and a son. What appears to be more important to the success of yoga “couple” is a shared relationship.

In practice yoga couple, each person not only makes individual asanas, but also performs many yoga exercises with your partner. Some young positions will only involve minor physical contact such as holding back their partner as they bend. Others are those that can not be done alone. A Pascimottanasana is an example where the couple is sitting on a mat in the bottom of the feet together and there is the partner’s hand clasping his wrists. Together, doing a double bend forward and help each other to stretch their legs, back and arm muscles.

One might ask, “What are the benefits of yoga practice more? There are many . Young

yoga helps each person to perform the most difficult positions more easily. Mutual

practice creates a higher level of privacy. You can take the relationship to a different level and help develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our partner.

In our busy lives when we do not know how to create time for the renewal of our own individual health, to share the practice of yoga with a loved one can become an important means of improving health staff and the strength of a relationship.

Practicing yoga helps each partner to understand their partners and their strengths and weaknesses and created the opportunity to add to each of its partners and its own strengths and to help improve the shortcomings of others. Young

yoga can create an increased energy in the relationship. You can improve the way they “dance” together. The share of support from a partner to help unlock all the areas of energy locked in your body.

It is difficult for many people for positions as chakraasana alone. When you have a partner to give a helping hand can do it without any effort at all.

Doing yoga with their children increases their feelings of being safe. Your loving touch and protective presence will trust and help them grow into healthy adults.

We all know that there are two basic forms of communication - verbal and nonverbal. Yoga with your partner to improve the quality of their non-verbal communication and communication without words, it gives another dimension to the expression of emotions.

Doing yoga with your partner will help you to be sensitive to where your partner is in need and the knowledge of how to help. The combination of tact and care adds to the healing of their relationship shared yoga. Because yoga partner creates space and opportunity to listen to others beyond words, everyone will be able to listen to the sounds inside “of others. This awareness adds to the feelings of peace and the land is often one of the main benefits of traditional yoga. Young

yoga creates a sense of harmony and mutual support to each of the partners stay in touch with the other. It is one of the best ways to maintain the physical, emotional and spirit of the levels of mind ..

Yoga is more flexible and thus have more energy.

One of the most important benefits of yoga is the youngest of the atmosphere that creates. Humor and laughter are not the characteristics of traditional yoga. Yoga are common in the young. Contributing to an atmosphere of lightness, which is one of the best signs of health and happiness. Young

yoga is not for everyone .

Many people benefit from his diary, isolation or practice yoga, yoga classes for those attending to others. Many need both the individual time they need the benefits of the practice of yoga. Some people are not comfortable with physical contact or with the performance of asanas with others watching.

The Four Corners of Yoga

Yoga Therapy

“Excellence in Action Yoga” said Song Celestial (Geetha), an authentic treatise on Yoga and the quintessence of the Upanishads. Yoga as the science of holistic living is a way of life. Yoga is not exercise despite these exercises were planned to improve the ability of our body. Includes yoga techniques that transform our intellect, mind and emotions and provides a comprehensive philosophy of life.

To live a life, we need to develop life skills. Yoga Aurobindo defined as the art of finding Mindful Auto. The first and fundamental that we must do if we want to extend the limits of our consciousness, is to obtain the domain of the mind. This is not easy.

The incidence of most of the physical ailments that have plagued humanity for centuries have been reduced by a glorious advances in medical science. The elimination of most infectious diseases and control of many metabolic disorders have been made for better drugs and surgical techniques. Soon, even routine minterventions genetics may be possible. But new and increasingly common cause of illhealth haunt us today. This is psychosomatic illnesses and chronic stress. Allopathy is less effective when dealing with these complaints.

The cause of these appear to be the attitudes and lifestyles and not physiological anomalies. Allopathy, focusing on physical and mechanical approach to healing, can do little to alleviate the conditions like these. The frantic pace of modern life for many people exposed to high mental stress and not without stress. And if they are largely in our sedentary lifestyle and too harmful substances on health and food, and they like to do, our well-being and fitness are committed furthur. Finally, stress can manifest itself in the form of physical or mental illness. Allopathy is symptomatic and has been offset by the abolition of the treatment of symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of the problem. The absence of the disease has been regarded as health,

rather than as a dynamic process of growth in which we feel really good in physics, mental and spiritual level.

The evolution of Medicine and the Three Ages of Medicine

allopathic medicine or “Physical Medicine” belongs to the first time . Is Cartesian and creates a dichotomy between mind and body. The treatment of a disease is like setting a part of the machine. The second was

of medicine refers to “mind-body medicine.” It became popular in the 1960s with the advent of meditation, imagery, hypnosis and bio-feedback. The mind and body are interconnected by messenger molecules and these molecules are invoked to achieve the healing process. The third was

of Medicine refers to “Transpersonal Medicine.” It became popular in 1990 with the arrival of the support group and spirituality to heal. Yoga therapy

complete the second and third periods of medicine.

Yoga therapy complements medical technology with a holistic system of health care that addresses the trino problems - physical, mental and spiritual. The author of Yoga Sutras, Patanjal, defined as the science of the mind. The mind is the cause of bondage and to redeem us from the thraldom of mind, we annilhilate to mind. excision is the wave of thought yoga. And to us through the teaching of our minds, our desires and our reactions to stress, mainly that yoga can help us. It is based on the tripod of Life - Body, Mind and Self and the three levels of Ser-Do, Think and be pure.

domain of the mind consists of 2 points;

1) Concentration - The ability to focus our attention on a particular topic or
object
2) Meditation - The ability to reassure our minds at will.

While the first part has been dominated by the most people, the second is very difficult. It’s hard to fall into a state of inner peace, much less at will. As an intellectual, clever way of quietening the mind, yoga is incomparable. A mind is still pure spirit.

All aspects of Yoga Quad work towards this, somehow, and if the practice of this master of science, we come closer to our goal. Yoga generates internal mental peace, in all our actions and thus ensure that the physical and mental health. The lull in action is the secret to achieve proficiency in accordance with the philosophy of Yoga. This is known as the strength of Superconscient quiet! Stillness is

Health and Yoga Therapy

The World Health Organization defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and ailments

. WHO also proposes fourth dimension - the spiritual well-being. It follows from this definition that health

must be conceived as a continuous function that indicates the welfare state and not to poor health.

The approach of Yoga Therapy is based on the holistic concept of man, the five “pods” of the physical existence of the pod (Annamaya Kosha) is only the first . The second is the pod Vitales (Pranamaya Kosha), which is composed of vital energy called Prana invisible flowing through channels called nadis. The third is the mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha) The fourth is the Intellectual sheath (Vijnanamaya Kosha) and the case is the end of the pod Bliss (Ananda Maya Kosha). The Bliss case is the positive energy are associated with the Divine Order. It is from this case that the true inner peace

Disease is defined as any imbalance in any of the three lower sheaths of existence. Ego Consciousness, which is about one another, dominates the physical, life and mind pods. harmony in these cases can be easily disturbed as the ego gets up in arms against the world most of the time. The fourth and fifth cases are permeated by a larger, and the Cosmic can not be altered because they are closer to the self. When we are truly healthy, positive energy to the maximum sheath freely filtered by the lower and brings harmony and balance to all our powers. However, imbalances in the bottom of the block of free movement of pods Bliss despite the harmony of the pods are consistently higher.

a great deal of Yoga, Yoga Vasishta, says that there are two types of physical illness, and each requires a different approach. The first are diseases with a strong physical element, such as infectious diseases and accidental injuries. This is most effectively treated by conventional medicine, but Yoga can play an important supporting role. Yoga is prophylactic and also helps prevent the occurrence of these diseases by improving our general health and makes us less prone to accidents.

Other types of disease arises through disturbances in the mind and the sheath includes all psychosomatic illnesses and degenerative diseases. In these disorders, psychological factors play a greater role, and conventional treatment alone can not make the cure. According to Yogic Psychology, such problems are believed to be caused by mental illness called Adhis. (Adhi Vyadhi creates the disease). These arise when extremely strong feelings of aversion or (Raga and Dvesha) becomes magnified and established acting to distort the personality and obstructing the flow of positive energy to the lower pods. This makes the imbalances that result in physical ailments and also makes us feel restless and dissatisfied.

The positive energy of the sheath that is responsible for our natural state is peace. While the flow of this energy is interrupted by Adhis (mental blocks), our sense of well-being is diminished, and in our attempt to recover, it can be furthur exacerbating the problem by behaving inappropriately.

We may eat the wrong kinds of food, falling into negative moods, drive ourselves too hard, overwork ourselves living in an unhealthy environment, and add more tension and stress. These methods, however, will only momentary relief may actually be detrimental to our health. YT-

provides that all important element to non-conventional therapies, while dealing with psychosomatic diseases, since it acts directly on mental health disparities that underlie them. While meditation and emotion of their culture makes us aware of the fact that the thoughts and emotions are tyrants, analysis Happiness teaches us to look within to find peace and joy beatific. This complements allopathic techniques that improve the physical condition but are unable to eliminate the root cause of the problem.

The root cause of all diseases - Bhoga or sensory pleasures

Bhoga (pleasures of the senses) is Roga (Disease). Can only be cured by Yoga (Divine Alchemy).

All food is tasty, that is harmful to the body, declares Prakriti Therapy The food comes from nature, fruits and vegetables

are alkaline in nature. maximum health is an alkaline. We can only be healthy if we maintain a 80% - 20% ratio. (80% alkalinity and acidity of 20%). That means eating more natural foods and fewer processed foods (which are more or less acidic). Indeed, processed foods, although the flavor, they are thieves who rob us of our natural, vibrant health. Happiness

Analysis of Change Lifestyle

Happiness is a technical analysis to analyze the cause of happiness, which is Bliss The beatific inner peace that characterizes

the fifth level of being. Basically, it embodies the realization that happiness comes from within and not

depends on material possessions or physical enjoyment. When you reach

wishes, we temporarily due to the satisfaction of participants and happiness is often associated with joy and excitement

postulate that the State of Bliss is a state of eternal silence, that we are not worried about tormenting thoughts and

where fear and free from any penalties. Although

Yoga practices lay the foundation for achieving this goal, we must also make efforts to maintain a state of perfect happiness

through analysis of our feelings of pleasure. The basic assumption of yoga is to ensure that the actions of pleasure when the silence inside briefly mention that defines true happiness. When our desire has been fulfilled a goal, or when you win, the example of a successful

our thoughts and our minds momentarily disappear in sauces Bliss sheath. Actually what we do is to open channels than temporary sheath, so that evoke positive feelings. This is just a temporary feeling and can not be perpetuated.

Can you generate from that moment on, in and liberate us from dependence on foreign aid? Yes, we can if we try enough. Practice makes perfect and may not be able to maintain in the first long inner peace, but little by little we will be less vulnerable to negative influences. The likes and dislikes (Raga and Dvesha) that can lead to mental illness (Adhis) is less important and our growing awareness of the Cosmic give meaning and coherence to all aspects of our lives.

base Yoga Yoga Therapy

therapy is fundamentally different from allopathic practice in their approach to health care. Instead of trying to reduce the disease

to a single factor and corrected by a priest, yoga aims to treat diseases by improving health in all five levels of Being - physical, vital, mental, intellectual and spiritual - while the restoration of internal harmony.

disease occurs when the total balance of perfect health is disturbed. And though the original disturbance influence can affect a single level in the first, ie the physical level, before the disturbance spread to the other four levels. All five cases of interacting existence, therefore, something that mainly affects the mind can soon spread to the subtle body and the pods. A bad day at work can make us irritable and also increases stress reaction, which makes our muscles tense and often depletes our energy levels of chronic fatigue. While

cultivation generates excitement equanimity, relaxation and meditation can calm our minds. produces the harmony of action, as well as negative influences disturbance spread. The different types of yoga practices increase mutually and are most effective when done together. All wisdom is given the word “relax.”

physical relaxation can be applied when we prescribed Asanas and stretch the muscles that muscle tension is released.

mental relaxation is when we relax our mind during meditation and release of emotions.

This is the essence of Yoga Therapy, both prophylactic and therapeutic. a daily practice of yoga can restore our natural balance and harmony, bringing positive good health to all three levels of being - physical, mental and spiritual.

Yoga Sutras

Yoga is an art of discipline that was developed by an Indian Hindu named Patanjali. He wrote a book on yoga in Sanskrit over two thousand years ago. Yoga sutras comes in many forms specially designed to suit different types of people. Therefore, some forms of yoga have gained popularity significantly.

The word “yoga” derives from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means yoke, and is usually translated as union, integration, attach, join, or unite. Therefore, it is the union and integration of all parts of a human being, from inside to outside.

The yoga sutras are considered as a collection of yogic thoughts that is largely raja yogic in nature. In the yoga sutras, Patanjali suggests eight steps that are the basic principles of yoga practice to calm the mind and unite with the infinite.

Yoga Sutras are physical activities that focus on body, mind and meditation. Yoga sutras combine the yoga practices to provide a general feeling of physical and mental health.
